In addition to its educational offerings, colleges often provide smart classrooms as a means of enhancing comprehension and facilitating learning via the use of visual representations to elucidate subject matter.
Pharmaceutics Laboratory I
It focuses on instructing students in the field of pharmaceutical industrial technology. The establishment offers amenities for the distribution of several prescriptions and the execution of practical activities pertaining to the subject matter.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory
In this lab provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and practical experience in various drug assays, as well as the establishment of standards for different active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients. Students are also taught the skills of synthesising and discovering new chemical entities.
Pharmacognosy Laboratory
It offers valuable guidance to students on the subject of natural drug sources and the process of phytochemical screening using a variety of equipment. Our organisation offers support to students in the identification of medicinal plants by presenting crucial physical characteristics of authentic medicinal plant species. In this laboratory, students are familiarised with the concepts of crude pharmaceuticals and the methodologies used for their extraction.
Human Anatomy and Pathophysiology Lab
This lab focuses on the examination of human anatomy and the research of pharmaceuticals. Both topics, namely tissue and organ biology and pharmacology, are very instructive and essential in providing information pertaining to the structure and function of tissues, organs, and the whole human body, particularly in relation to the impact of pharmaceuticals. This knowledge serves as the foundation for understanding diseases and their treatment strategies.
Digital Library
Libraries play an important part in our lives. It creates a highly tranquil and disciplined setting that allows students to keep strong attention on their studies as well as a healthy environment for studying, taking notes, or finishing an assignment. The GNIT Library offers a world-class study environment that is completely air-conditioned and Wi-Fi equipped. The College's library is well-stocked, with over 4736 Text and Reference books and 507 titles, as well as a fair variety of (20) National / International Journals, periodicals, and daily newspapers. The library offers highly extensive collections of e-books and online resources to meet the academic community's research and teaching needs, and audio-video capabilities are also available to aid research and teaching learning activities. There are a total of four newspapers. For library housekeeping operations, the library has been employing the Campus ERP library management software.
Book Bank
The library provides a Book Bank service, which considerably benefits students in getting needed textbooks for the semester.
Library Hours
Library maintains regular operating hours on weekdays throughout the Institute's operational schedule. The designated self-reading space for pupils remains accessible from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria facility at the institution has a high level of structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. The cafeteria is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in its modern kitchen, enabling the provision of a diverse range of Indian and Continental cuisine. This includes a variety of snacks, fruit juices, teas, milk, coffee, working lunches, sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, noodles, curd, lassi, and other similar offerings. The inside has been meticulously crafted to provide essential comfort and foster a tranquil ambiance. In addition, the college organises a 'Cafe Day' event that offers a selection of coffee, tea, and snacks.
Sports
Education and competition are two common elements of human aspirations. Competitions of various types have substantial importance in the field of academic achievement because they promote self-assessment and improve students' skills by encouraging knowledge of their own strengths and driving performance progress. The GNIT College of Pharmacy in Greater Noida recently sponsored a series of events targeted at developing its students' latent potential. A Poster Presentation, Rangoli, T-Shirt, and Extempore competition were among the activities. Sports have the capacity to significantly impact people's lives. Participating in this activity promotes physical, psychological, emotional, and social well-being, as well as overall personal progress. Playing leads to the development of physical fitness, emotional resilience, and the improvement of speed and stamina. Furthermore, it encourages team members' traits such as compliance, self-control, fair play, and loyalty. Indoor and outdoor games were among the sports events conducted by GNIT College of Pharmacy. Carrom and Chess were among the indoor games, while Volleyball, Kho-Kho, and Badminton were among the outdoor activities.
Transport
Students, educators, and employees living in the NCR area have access to transportation. The institution has its own bus fleet, which is utilised not only for regular transportation but also for student activities such as the NSS programme, leisure tours, study tours, industrial visits, and so on.
Medical
All students, employees, and teachers on campus have access to the Medical (OPD) facility. The GN College of Pharmacy has a partnership with a nearby hospital (about 1 km away from campus) for both outpatient and inpatient (hospitalisation) services. In an emergency, the college ambulance transports the ill individual to the hospital. The college also offers a doctor-on-Call system that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
